Failure is an essential tool in CrossFit and in life. A person can never know their limits is they never push themselves to the borders of their abilities. Does that mean we just eschew safety? No. But there is being safe and being, for lack of a better word, a wuss. An over used quote from Teddy Roosevelt goes, “Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those timid spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
