What are you doing this for? I’vs been thinking about this a lot lately. I know why I do it. I really do enjoy working out, pushing myself, seeing what I am capable of. But what about everyone else? Some people start just to lose weight or get “fit”. So if you reach a certain weight you can stop working out? What does “fit” mean to you?
The focus of the article is that all the time we put in the gym is not about the destination, its about the journey. Finding out about yourself, making goals and reaching them, and the people you meet and become close to along the way. It’s probably cliche to say but I’ll say it anyway. Being a successful happy person is not about money and possesions. A successful person is someone who is living their life the way they want to with who they want to. They enjoy the journey and know the destination. If you aren’t enjoying the ride to whatever it is in life, fix it. Life is too short not to.
