How Many Calories are Burned in a CrossFit Type Workout?

I get asked pretty frequently “How many calories did we burn in that workout?” There’s no simple answer unfortunately. The article above says men average 21 calories per minute and woman about 12. The real benefit comes from EPOC though. Excess post-exercise oxygen consumption. I’m not a scientist so I am not exactly sure how it all works but it does work. Be consistent, train hard when you are here and the rest will take care of itself
