Hierarchy for Fitness

The above pyramid shows the approach to athletic development and is also a good guideline for fat loss. It all starts with nutrition. Unless you are under say 25, you can’t outwork a bad diet. If your nutrition is off you will not see maximum benefit from all your working out so if you have any questions or need some guidance, ask.

As I stated last week I am updating my personal progress on our September Challenge. Here we go-

Weight- 178lb

Body fat- 19.5%

I adhered to the Carnivore Diet for most of the week. I did have 2 beers Friday and 3 beers Saturday night. I also had some rice with dinner Friday. So a little cheating. But well within the 80/20 range I was trying to get to. Monday through Friday except for the dinner Friday I ate around 1.5 lb of ribeye steak each day. It looks like I lost a little bit of body fat but its still within the range so I will consider it negligible.

I did very minimal working out last week. I was having a lot of pain in my arm and it was making me unmotivated and I used it as an excuse. This week my goal is to get in at least 3 metcons and try to figure out a way to lift something.

We have about 19 days left to go in this challenge. Keep up the good work! I can see the progress in a lot of you already. You can do this!
